Grooming Agreement: *

Requirements: For the safety of our employees and clients, it is required for all pets to be up to date on their vaccinations. Please bring your pet's updated vaccination paperworks to help us keep everyone safe! Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, I authorize Safe & Hound to immediately seek professional veterinary attention for my pet at my expense. I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in the event of an emergency. Coat Condition: I understand that Safe & Hound puts my pet's comfort above all else. In the event that my pet's coat is matted, I understand that the groomer may have to shave the coat rather than perform a painful dematting procedure. I also understand that if my pet is severely matted, that there is an increase in clipper burn or cuts to occur. I understand that all attempts will be made to prevent this; however, in extreme cases, I understand that matted pets can take additional time to groom, so there will be an additional fee added on to the regular grooming service price. Health/Behavior: I understand that grooming can be stressful for some pets and I will inform the groomer if there are any health conditions or stress related issues. I will inform the groomer of any aggressive behavior or anxiety prior to the grooming service. There may be an additional fee added on to the regular grooming service price if additional time is incurred. Cancellation Policy: I understand that if I need to change or cancel my appointment time, that I must give at least 24 hours notice, so the appointment time can be made available to another client. If two appointments are missed without notice given, I may be required to pre-pay a deposit to book my next grooming service appointment. If you are running late and we do not have notice, there may be a late check in time fee charged.
